I think I just found a new bug. I'm on R1J (unbranded, unlocked, W20).

While listening to the radio via the headset I couldn't answer an incoming call by pressing the button on the headset microfone. I can dial out with it (activate voice dial) though. Is this a bug or meant to be like this?

Anyone else experienced this?

Unbranded, Unlocked (no idea how to find out week of manufacture).

Latest firmware. Able to answer phone with button while I was listening to MP3 player but the ring tone was really quiet through the headset.

I just found out I'm able to accept the call with the button when in standby. So eiter this is a FW glitch or it was a bad connection with the headset. Gonna do some further troubleshooting.

I must say though that I have axperienced some issues with the headset connector. Sometimes it doesn't see the headset, wiggling the plug helps. On the other hand I have had that happen with HPB-11 too when it was new, I blame it on stiff connector prongs, but who knows...

Its quite deliberately made this way, thanks for that, its no bug

Yeah it's not a bug but it's annoying for some. Why not just give the option to turn the limit off? All the default users get the 6 seconds, everyone else gets what they want.

I don't really care about the general public, I need my phone's SMS tone to be as annoying as possible to wake me up when I'm on call. 6 seconds isn't enough.

You can't answer the phone with the headset button if the voice answering is activated.

And the volume of the voice tag is too low in the headset in relation to the volume on mediaplayer and especially the radio.

That's my experience.

Yep figured that out today. Voice answering never had that effect on my previous (s)e phones, so it got me confused for a moment.
Tnx for the help

Pretty lame question IMO.

Did you buy Windows XP BEFORE Service Pak 2 was released?

And in that case: Was it worth doing with all the bugs?

Why this comparison? Well, luckily enough you can upgrade your Windows and thereby patch it. This is also the case with the K750!!!!

All of a sudden since this afternoon, my just over two week old K750i's earpiece speaker is jarring a lot. Even at the lowest setting, I am super disappointed of course.

I'll wait and see if this is not fixed by tomorrow, then I'll have to send it to USA, and hope for the best.

This sounds like a hardware fault. I once had something similar with my T610, though is disappeared after a few days. I had it replaced nonetheless. [addsig]

Yeah I figured it was probably a hardware thing, which sucks, because apart from a few reboots, my phone has been working so well, even the camera's blur problem was minimal.

I'm on the phone with USA right now, the rep says they are located in North Carolina, and they don't have parts to fix the phone yet. So she said I ought to wait upto 2 months before I call back to have it sent in for repairs. I hope the phone fixes itself soon.

The incoming sound jarring is so bad that I called USA again today, and told them about the problem, and they issued me a RMA # and I guess I'll send my K750i in, they say it could take weeks if not month to get it fixed, but what choice do I have? The earpiece speaker is faulty. It jars even at the lowest volumes.

Man this sucks.

Bug? K750i connected to PC via USB cable. Access Memory Stick via Windows Explorer, then power down PC. Disconnect K750i from cable, and I get "Memory Stick not available"... To fix, power phone off and on.

Unbranded phone has R1J firmware; its as if the phone doesn't realise that the PC has powered off.. Problem occurs on my two laptops, three desktops, tablet pc and desktop @ work.

I've got another issue:
Syncing with Outlook 2003
The phone only seems to use aprox. 200 chars. when syncing Notes (not the client) in Outlook 2003. So you only get max 200 chars. to the phone. It's the same with the extra info you can use for youre contacts.
Probably just a limitation but a silly one.

I've mentioned this before but no one seems to have this problem.

When a sms text message is sent to me when my phone is switched off, the time on the message indicates it was sent at the time my phone when switched off and not the time it was sent (which can be checked in the details section).

I only noticed this because I switch my phone off at night and one of my friends sent a message at 8am but it showed up as coming through at 130am (earlier than actually sent). This has happened a number of times. I have an Orange K750 and recently upgraded firmware to lastest generic software and it still happens. Just wondered if it is an Orange network problem or a problem with the phone.

Can anyone confirm?
