Has anyone else noticed the handset earspeaker volume of the K750i is really low, even on maximum volume? My Motorola V3 had exactly the same problem but I was able to increase the gain using a seam edit with P2KMan. Does anyone know of something similar for SE phones and the K750i in particular? Thanks in advance.

Maybe u just have bad hearing

No seriously though,
I don't know about the K750 but I thought the K700 was a little quiet compared to the earblowing P-Series but still good enough and good quality

Yep. I suspect my seam edited V3 has spoiled me when it comes to volume. I will just have to make do with it. It won't be that much of a stuggle

You're probably just noticing the difference as u say, same as I do compared to a P900 or P910.
I'm sure u'll get used to it

Yeah I have the feeling it's a little bit lower than k700i but I'm not sure because I don't have it anymore...

I've compared with a t610, and I think the volume is a little bit lower on k750i but the sound is clearer, so all in all it's quite good anyway

Yeh my volume is a bit low as well compared to my t610 i was using.

Also my radio has too much volume, so much that i can't turn it down very low without getting to the off setting ?

And my mp3's sound totally different when comparing media player vs ringtone ? really bright and lots more volume as a ringtone.

I only made notice of this poor volume issue with my K7 when I am playing some mp3 songs and 3gp vids - as I have to adjust the volume level to 7 or 8 (max). The sound just works fine when I am receiving some messages (sms) and when someone is calling (ringtone). [addsig]

I agree its much lower than usual, however the radio seems fine, so what I do is edit songs to max volume and then transfer them.

Use the equalizer to increase everything to almost the max, dont do it all the way or you'll damage the speaker, but u will have louder audio.

Sometimes I can hardly hear people when holding the phone to my ear - its definitely lower than my K700. I have to put the speaker phone on often!!

Im one of those which must have a louder k750. Or maybe i was one of them which had a quite k700.
Yes some people do have louder, quiter versions.

My k750 is louder then my k700 in loudspeakr aswell as listening to it with the headphones. Its only the slightest bit lower then my bro's p910.
Still with better headphones this phone is a serious contender for being a great mp3 player. (Aswell as more memory)

After months of waiting I recieved my K750i. I think that functionaly this is one of the best phones I have owned (I currently have the P900). It is very unfortunate that the volume on this phone is very weak and does not compare to my Nokia 6610, P900 or even my older T68i. I find this a serious flaw in the phone and have contacted SE in this regard. I was informed that this is the first that they have heard of this problem and suggested that I exchange the unit for another one. I am not sure that this is a hardware issue and unfortunately I am inclined to return this phone unitl this issue resolved.

Has anyone managed to overcome / find a fix for this issue?

I've set it to loudest and the earpiece volume is low.
