Mind you, having a firmware version that noone else on the planet owns must cheer you up a bit .
Seriously though - what problems are you having with your firmware, and what revision is it?

I have just tried this with my O2 UK branded R1BC002 K750 and do not suffer the reboot issue. Perhaps your firmware is slightly corrupt? If you are concerned about this issue I would try a master reset, which may fix the problem for you.

How do you conclude that locking the keypad and opening the lens cover institutes "flight mode"?

I tried it on my K750i and all it does is turn on camera mode.

@leibniz I'm pretty sure he's referring to a W800. Early on there was no instructions on how to turn the camera on in flight mode, only the MP3 player.

Ah yes. Well that would explain it.

I thought there was some magical trick to enable flight mode on a non-converted K750i. Silly me. D'oh!

As cool as flight mode would be, I'm still not ready to install the non-K750i firmware.

Could the k750i be updated with w800i's firmware? I've heard people talk about it but never really seen one with that kind of amendment, and how would it affect the sound quality in general of the k750i?

I apologize if this has been attended to before, please point me in the right direction.

Don't ruin your K750. The sound quality is 100 % the same as when you attach original HPM 70 to it..

I successfully flashed my D750i to W800i's firmware a few months ago, and now it is recognised as a W800i but it won't update to the latest firmware when I use SE Update (it says I already have the latest, which I definitely don't).

Is this normal?

W99, It wont Update a D750 with W800 FW because SEUS checks the phones IMEI number to ensure it is a W800 handset.

This morning I ran the setup wizard on my K750 running R1BC002, and I'm not sure if it's just me, but I think the wizard has changed from when I first bought the phone?

The demo phone in the images is now silver, and it goes into more detail about the separate buttons than before rather than briefly summarising the buttons, and just setting up the time and importing contacts etc etc...

Naturally, it's entirely possible that I just never paid enough attention to this in the first place, but I'm sure there has been some improvements/modifications. Has anyone else any thoughts on this? Or old firmware’s to compare?
