Hi dudes and dudettes,
I have my lovely V3, and have finally edited my address book to make it more compatible with the phone, and now would like to delete the handheld's phonebook so that I can re-sync it with my desktop. There must be a way to do it, but my fiddling has proved useless, and so has the web. Please help before i pull all my hair out.

cheers,
t+

ps: sorry for the cross post, got it in the wrong forum before

yeah I have found the same problem. I solved it by copying all my contacts to a temp folder (in outlook) and then synching with an empty folder

cheers guys,
that sounds like a much easier option, as i wouldn't have to set up all the email and wap settings again.

that is brilliant, godly. I just performed the impossible erasure with motorola's bundled Phone Tools. all you do is set the priorities to 'computer' with an ampty contacts folder.
