dont say stuff like "the next phone should come with an electric stove" or soemthing crazy like taht...

Hehe
Seriously now, I want a phone with a good battery. If you look at Sonys music players they got 40-60h, while all other brands got 11h play time.
With a good Battery u also get new possibilities.
Good camera, real music player, videorecorder, videoplayer.. even real gaming.
A portable MediaMachineComminicator is what I want
Look at what portable things we use: phone, PDA, mp3, camera, video camera, gaming, gps navigation, TV..
With a good battery you could have all that Implemented in a small nice looking phone.
But then it's not (only) a Phone anymore.

A remote control built in for my TV set. Now that would be practical.

iPAQs have been coming with that facility for years. The IR port is consumer standard and so has the neccessary range and power
you can even get casio watches with that feature too!

@masseur
If it can fit in a watch, it really should'nt be that difficult in a phone.
We can throw in the garage door opener as well..... : )

Its all software, as well as the necessary hardware, IR port.
Garage door is bad, if you get your phone nicked, the you can also say goodbye to the contents of your garage, and maybe even your house.
They should have payment facilites in phones. Like you have wen you enter some buildings like an electronic card or chip!

but hopefully more accurate. my wife and 2 kids could unlock my iPAQ 3870 with their own fingers so I gave up using that feature!

yea phoen as a payment thingy is cool...
but u forgot the 'phone being nicked' situation in this case...
it should have some kinda biometrics for security..
maybe a fingerprint checker..while makin payments.....
that way if it gets nicked..atleast there is some security....
EDIT: lol..3 people posted almost the same thign at almost the same time....
EDIT2: great minds DO think alike afterall!!

A toilet paper dispenser.
That would solve quite some problems.
