Sagem has this new mobile phone for Vodafone without a camera, supports only basic features for calling and texting.

I didn't see anything mentioned that suggest sagem was anything more than a basic phone for vodafone and no mention of it replacing sharp, not that sharp has really featured much lately in vodafones line up.
Really the Sharps have just been one of many on offer since most manufacturers are bowing to Vodafone's wishes for customised software

I think it's a good idea to release a phone like that. Not everyone needs the feature set that you get on most new phones these days.
I bet it's very easy to use and doesn't go wrong very often, if at all. Those two things could be seen as very attractive features to many people
Your right though, it does look rather like a feminine hygiene product

Hi brix!
A close contest between this one and Nokia's similarly sanitary-styled 2650..the flexi-wings flip-phone.
I'll leave it at that...
Come on Sagem! After much better looking Sagems like the myX-7 and myX-8 over the past year, now this!?(even if this is a budget phone!)

Why not just pick up a nokia 3310? Imo it is the best phone for calls and texting.

Or the SE T105...which is a call & texting phone but scores way above the 3310 ( and definitely over this one ) in looks & size.
