Are you sure that's the right photo? To quote the press release: "the keypad of the Nokia 8800 gracefully glides from its protective casing, revealing a hidden camera on the back." In that photo only the top half of the phone moves?!?

What a stupid concept!
Their thirst for new form factors just make them look stupid!!!!
If the top half slides up to reveal the keys, WHAT THE HECK THE BOTTOM HALF IS THERE FOR?!!?!??!?!
The phone could be half the size! (don't take this sentence literally)

The best thing about this phone is it supports Bluetooth 1.2 specification and it is compatible with stereo wireless bluetooth headset introduced by nokia today for listening mp3 and fm radio.
Is there any other nokia supporting Bluetooth 1.2 specification ?

I quite like this form factor, the keypad is always covered when you’re not using the phone and it’ll making texting a lot easier. I still struggle with phones like the K700 nearly falling out of my hand because the keypad is so close to the bottom. |

Krubach, dont be an idiot.
If something slides up to reveal keys, it does not necessarily mean that the keys are up, also the extra space can be used for the camera etc. so stop hating nokia and being an SE obsessive fan.
Let me explain how it works, u have a phone, its covered by a screen. When a button is pressed, the phone screen moves upwards until the keys are revealed. MAGIC.

Did i offend you?
1 - Have you pics of the phone?
2 - The keys are in the top half.
3 - The camera is in the back of the top half slider.

I know how the phone looks, however surely u dont think they could fit those features in that small, surely u dont think that the silver casing is empty, surely ure not an idiot.
Its obvious that the casing is filled with components, or they wouldnt have made the phone that size. Also it isnt hollow so no way its empty.
So dont be an idiot cause the phone couldnt have been half the size.
AND U HAVE OFFENDED ME, STUPID PEOPLE PISS ME OFF. |
