ok i had a slight accident with my P800 when i had, had a huge argument with my gf (i threw it at the window - the phone that is!) and the screen is nackard the phone switched on and looks ok (well i think lol) but what i want to know is... should i buy a screen for it and "try" and fit it myself, take it to be repaired or just save and buy a new phone? (i really need a phone the nokia 6110 is abit cack! tho it's better than the 8110 i borrowed and the siemens a55!) so what do you lovely people think?

buy a screen and try and fit it myself

get it repaired

just buy a new phone when i can afford it?

For the cost and hasstle of getting the new screen. It might be worth just waiting until you can afford a p9xx.

Make your girlfriend buy you a new phone. It's her fault she got you mad.
If it weren't for bad lucks, I would have no lucks at all.

Yeah, a p900 would be good.

Although when I had a similar accident, the screens were 45 quid and really easy to replace. I got the screwdriver for under 2 quid delivered, and the screen was a sinch to replace.

Just buy a new phone and remember to put it away the next time you get in an arguement with your girlfriend. If you really want to score points with your girlfriend in the next arguement, just tell her that your definition of a relationship is :

"Trying to solve problems together you would have never had if you were alone."

But then again you might end up single after that line hehehe. But if you took precautions you would still have a working phone to call someone else.

tho my hf said she'll lend me so cash to go towards a new phone (shes a student im soon to be one) so all is well!
