just got a wap push message for this saying:

"On April 1st things are changing. We're creating a new world, one that revolves around you. After all, we think it's time you got something back."
Then there's a picture of the earth, and then
"Look out for the ways we'll be making your loyalty more rewarding"

Mmmmmmm, that clears things up a bit then!!!!

I am sure I have read that Video call minutes which were included in the free minute allocation will now NOT be.

I'll try to find the print to confirm this.

Not much of an announcement is it?

best regards,

bigredend,

I posted 2005-04-01 09:32

When I said to the o2 customer services about the sms, they said they knew nothing about it........

I went through lists of new handsets with customer services and nowt.

O2 shop in the nearby city just said double texts for 6 months with new contract or upgrade. But shop did say z800i coming soon!!

It's all on o2.co.uk:

"We think it's about time our existing customers were rewarded for their loyalty. After all, it's not only new customers who should feel special and wanted, is it?"

Although don't get excited long term contract holders, their marketing team seem to have forgotten that a vast amount of their "existing customers" are contract and not PAYG!

@peanut - why am I not surprised the long-term contract holders are left out of the equation, as usual?
