If it does work on the P900, you still have the problem with connecting more than 1 BT device at once, meaning you will have to have the phone on load speaker . Which isn't very load in a car.

Also, not saying that i dont believe that image on the first page is real because i do, but it looks pretty odd, as it has a silver trim around the screen which looks alot different to mine, maybe just the light.

Still, im looking forward to this tom tom release. Come On!.
Oh my god! a wooden goat!.

It was in a display that is the "silver" rim, I will upload more pics (made 1300) if my laptop enters my home wireless network (which it doesn't do right now).

I have also a photo of a working TomTom on a P910 (in a car ).

I don't know if any of you lot have tried speaking to to Tom Tom customer support but I have and they are being very tight lipped. I have emailed them and asked if they could confirm a release date for Mobile 5 on UIQ. They wont even confirm that this software will be released on this platform. Their official line is they are currently just "thinking" about which handsets will be supported when the Mobile 5 software is released in April! Seems a bit late in the day to still be just "thinking" with April just 2 weeks away!

Suprise suprise - the same response they gave after demonstrating it at last years CeBit too. I would be very suprised if the UIQ version ever sees the light of day.
Lets face it - they had a working version over a year ago, so surely they would have released it by now if they were ever going to, also with the upcoming release of Route 66 you would have thought that from a marketing point of view if they were going to announce it then now would be the time to put off potential Route 66 buyers.

Well the first time (last year) TomTom UIQ was just a jpeg slideshow and you couldn't use it!

Now it is working!
Probably late spring it will be in the shops.

R66 is finished and will be out within a couple of weeks (they said!).

Wow! that looks amazing.. So have does the Pharos Bluetooth GPS work with the P910i? I'd love to get a GPS for my phone.. even if just to have the GPS readout on my phone.

A company dosent spend 2 years and demo at two trade shows and not produce a product. I'm sure tomtom will be out in a matter of weeks when the software is polished.

It is not the software (maybe a little but it works fine now) but the hardware (MSD) which makes the delay!

No it's the problem to get the software on a Memory stick.
Well it isn't that difficult using a pc with a memorycard reader.
But if you have much more to do you want to do automatic, there is the problem, they said MSD pro's won't let them be produced automaticly with the software on it.

How route66 this solves I don't know!
