Hi

I've had a Martin Fields protector for ages now and since I had my screen replaced (Repair centre didn't send protector back I'm going to buy a different one since I hated how the MF one got fingerprints on it so easy.

So I'm going to get the glare free one from here

http://www.expertshield.com/i[....]0&lang=en¤cy=GBP&type=gf

Maybe a silly question, but this will cover the entire screen of my p900 right? Not just the top half.. And also, I may as well ask..Is the Brando one better? I read that the Brando makes the screen a bit dull.. I'm not sure about this one though... Anyone using the Expert Shield brand?

Thanks for any info

any glare reducing screen protector will dull out the screen a little bit. Also, there is no reason to expect the protector to only cover a portion of the screen. Everyone I have ever seen or heard of covers the whole screen.

This one seems like a good price, I don't think you have a whole lot to lose.

I am using the WriteSheild from Expansys (www.expansys.com or .co.uk). It fixes well with no bubbles and doesn't dull the screen too much - I wrecked my P900 by not using one and have been pleased with the result on the P910...

The normal Brando may be dull but Brando UltraClear certainly is not.
Also SymMobile Crystal clear is not dull.

However I've yet to find a screen protector that doesn't deteriorate with stylus writing.

Thanks for the replies..

Are these protectors 'glossy' like the MF one? This is what I want to avoid... I'm after the rougher ones that dont smudge or leave fingerprints... I know the older Brando ones are the type I'm looking for but what about these new UltraClear ones? I think I read somewhere that they are glossy (smudgy)..

If it comes to a choice however (smudgy or dull colour) I will choose the dull colour to be honest... Smudgy screens just do my head in.

Thanks again

My WriteShield is not glossy it has a pleasantly rough surface! Not sure how else to describe it really, but it helps with stylus input as well as protecting the screen...

The Brando UltraClear and SymMobile CrystalClear are perfectly clear & glossy but both these manufacturers, and MF too, also make 'normal' ones which are less clear & more rough.
