@Orange, you must be joking...changing a vga camera to a 2mp camera with autofocus is NOT minor upgrade...radio with rds is not a minor upgrade...MS till 2gb support is not a minor upgrade...etc

And still you're saying that 6230 -> 6230i is just a minor update, even if the changes are basicly the same?

camera: VGA -> 1.3 MP
display: 128x128 -> 208x208
memory: 6 MB -> 32 MB (internal)

Other addings to 6230i:
- PoC
- Visual Radio
- 3D graphics
- Direct printing
- USB connectivity
- Some other stuff like QCIF video encoding, OMA MMS 1.2, polyphony of 64, new codecs like AMR-WB...

Arez, don't waste your breath on them my friend...

I don't think Sony Ericcson needs to prove anything with there newreleases.

I think the amount of posts on other Mobile forums speak for themselves...

Anyway....

We'll just see which of the following will become a hit.

SE

K750i
W800i
Z600i
Z800i

or the

Nokia

6230i
6030
6021

Finally i sense another if not 2 GSM award winning Mobiles from SE.

yeah i cant really see how nokia has done enough to deserve an award with rehashes of old phones at least se have improved on past phones and before someone goes on about the 6230i what have they really done to improve it they havent really streched the bounds of technology have they

The 6630 is already a hit buddy! Nokia can't satisfy world wide demand. In my country it will only be available from next week ! The plant in Hungary is manufacturing it as well as from the 1-st of this month ! Personaly I don't like it and I've decided to wait till next month for the 6680.I think the price helped a lot to make it a hit.It costs less the the old P910i while having more features and uses and weighin only 3/4!Greetings from SA.Mario :-)
