Had a play around with my friend's M2000 the other day and I do have to say it is quite impressive. We both had p800s he upgraded to the M2000 i got a p910i. Compared to the p910i it is a lot more bulkier especially when it has its protective case on. It is definitely more of PDA than a phone. Screen on the M2000 is bigger and lot clearer
Still think i would hang onto my P910i for now, but M2000 has big advantage in that it has wi fi. SE will have to sort this out if it wants to stay competitve for future smartphones. As the next upgrade for me will have to have wi fi as standard, especially now there are a lot of hot spots in london. In my road alone i can pick up 5 wireless networks
Well thats my 2p's worth anyway |

Get the M2000 it has an SD card input so that is alot cheaper, and a much better screen, and a larger thumb board!
It is generally whether or not you like size over functionality???
I would definitely go for the M2000! Much more things going on!

Branding seems to bugger up the phone! I have an Orange P910i, the third in as many months and they all seem to ahve problems, whereas the non branded dont seem to have the software glitches/bugs!
Check out other threads with regard to branding of the p910i |

okey here goes.
I had the SE P900 for quite some time. But when I changed job I had 2 get the M2000 (or mine is called Qtek 9090, same phone).
First of all. The M2000 is not a mobile phone. It's a PDA with a phone poorly integrated. Phone software is almost completly worthless. (mine is sent on service bcuz the phone software didn't activate the speaker or mic when I pressed Answer)
So the questions becomes, right at the start, "Do I want a PDA or mobilephone?"
Pro:
- Great screen.
- Active Sync is just absolutly brilliant (Exchange sync via GPRS)
- bcuz of the big sreen the calender is good too
Cons:
- 2 damn heavy. But on the other hand you don't have to be afraid if loosing it in you pocket
- Thumb keyboard sux. Skip it and reduce the weight
- Batterytime. If used regularly all day .. dont excpect to get much more than, mayby, 36h from standard battery.
- Windows........ well. MS can't even seem to get rid of bugs here either. Althought Symbian UIQ also has a few problems. Windows beats it with out competition.
just my 2 cents.
If you don't need Active Sync. Get the P910!

I know , that wasn't the problem. I wasn't clear enough. As I answered a call the phone didn't activate the speaker = people could hear me talking but I couldn't hear them
I recently got mine back from service. They had to change the speaker bcuz it was loose apparently. They indicated that I hade dropped it, which i didn't have.
Oh well. The had fixed it an now for some strange reason the PDA works mush better. WLAN range has increased with 20m ..
