I've got a t68 data cable - I think that's the same as the t28 - which according to site I've seen seem to be acceptable for flashing my phone (s700)...
I'm just trying to figure out one last thing - how do I use SETOOL?
I know I have to get a credit, but the site tells me I have to go to a reseller? can't I obtain it over the net or something?
Can someone help?

Thanks... So there should be a way of ordering one.. i thought so
I just found it strange that the main site didn't have it themselves..
I'm still new to the concept..
Have you flashed your phone before?

Send a pm to gbrooks3, he's really helpful and will sell you credits. There's a manual available on the setool website that explains most of what you need to know.

gbrooks3 posted a little guide in the Z800 Firmware now available for V800! thread including how to get credits. I assume the procedure is similar for S700

That is correct @ masseur, the process is the same for all new phones.

PM= Private Message

it's like a email system internal to the forum
After you log in you should see Private Messages on top of the page click on it and there you go.

setool dont sell credits anymore, you must buy expensive hardware called UFS box. this will let you flash as many phones as you want again and again. with a credit you can only flash one phone once. The only way to get credits now is to buy them second hand off people who have not used them yet.
