I have never heard of reliance with a symbian os. And true, no good handsets in the market.

And Reliance isn't 3G. Its plain old CDMA- 1x. And reliance handsets are real ugly!

1) Reliance IS 3G. i.e. CDMA 1x is a 3G 1x technology.
2) GPRS has a Maximum transmission of 53kbps. Handsets have a maximum handsets of 48kbps. i.e you get a download speed on your computer of 48/4=6KBPS. (8bits=1byte)
3) EDGE has a maximum transmission of 384kbps. Handsets currently support 288kbps (>256 = broadband) recieving. i.e download speed on your computer is 288/8=36kbps. |
