@ jcwhite_uk > I guess it has do to with the place of manufacture of the phone anyway. My T28 is made in Sweden and has (in my opinion) a better built construction than my t39, that was made in Malaysia.

When I say built construction I mean mainly the feeling of the keypad and the aparent quality. I did not open them.

Maybe those who have many /// phones could tell us if (and how much) the place of manufacture change the quality of a same phone ?

@numero6 - I quite agree that Swiss made Ericsson's has a 'nicer' feel and to use as well compared to Malaysian mades I've experienced them both with my T39mc (then) and my T28s - now ! [addsig]

Well if you read the whole post you know my T39 was stolen and that I needed a phone fast. So I found this cheap T68i and bought it.

But really I never enjoyed it. The only good points ot the T68i for me are its long battery life and the fact it can stands ! I don't need BT or Ir, the color screen is useless and impossible to see on sunny days, the phone "squeaks" when you use the keypad...

So I wanted to get back to the /// quality, sold the T68i to a friend and bought this lovely T28 World. It does everything I need, has a wonderful design and built quality and an active flip !

@numero6: I totally understand you my friend, since I also have always a second /// phone working next to my K700 (right now my R380 world). However there is a very important thing you must have in mind. The T28s has a very high SAR rate (1,28 if I am not wrong), which would prevent me from using it as a first phone.Modern phones have much lower SAR rate.

It was more to with the design of the phone and that the chassis of the t29 was made of plastic and not metal like the T28 and T39.
