When u put t28, r320 etc on it, the charger ask u to change profil, so if u set one on divert, it turns on auto.

@numero6, that batts a kicker! I got 4 or 5 days use out of my T28s as it was, i'd have gotton three weeks with that batt! |

The batt on my vintage Ericsson T28 lasts only for '2.5 days', from full till the led starts to blink - RED . . . Me plan to get a good spare - pronto, though as I check all the possible centers which 'still' sold those vintage Ericsson batts, my chances are VERY - slim of getting me one . . . !

@ max_wedge > Yes, the BHC-10 is great ! I've charged it only once since I got it and it marked 180 hours. I'm still using it and I suppose after a good use/charge cycle it will last even a little longer. SE's site says 210 hours I think.
Of course with a T28 its performances are not as good as they are with a T39, but anyway that's a fine.
@ JN > The BUS-11 (600mAh) that came with the phone when I bought it gives me about 2 and a half days too. If you're looking for original batteries, consider eBay. I paid 9 pounds for my BHC-10.

@numero6 - Thanks for the advise mate. But I'll try accessing that very elusive 'vintage' battery - locally!

@ Cell Phone Votary > I searched on SE's site but they didn't put the weight. But I guess it should be 2 or 3 times the weight of my BUS-11. It is like 4 times bigger anyway !

numero6,
I just bought a T28 at E-bay, it looks so retro I had to try one. I don't plan on replacing my Z600 permenantly, but since I am new to the world of Sony Ericsson, it is nice to actually use some of their history, and considering the price, not all that expensive to do so.
What is the model of the desktop charger, I think that would complete the phone, if i can find one.
Thanks |
