About 5 yrs ago I owned a Phillips Savvy which had the best reception of any handset I've used...never lost coverage...it should be said though that networks down here are quite reliable when it comes to coverage. :se:

As a professional i must say that every phone has the microphone and the loudspeaker. Only afew phones are good in both! Most nokias are bad, most ///, samsung, philips are good and best are t39m and z1010.

I've always experienced that old Nokias have extremely good reception.

I had a Nokia 2100 which had extremely good reception and voice clarity. It did perfectly what it was meant to do!

I remember that 2100, yeah good signal, good for self defense too

I'd say of all the phones I've used K700i has the best signal. Because even in my pocket inside our office I can still receive calls and SMS messages which I normally would miss in my previous phones.
resistance is futile.

@blackspot, the 2100 isn't that big! Not much larger than the T230! My T230 also has good reception. But the voice clarity is average.

no offence brother, I just mentioned that because my GF used to own a N2100 too and I had a moto Flare that time. I used to tease her saying "We should buy another one and make a nunchaku"
resistance is futile.
