I'm looking for ppl that are interested in "developing" or modifying the firmware of the AVR in order to add new functionalities...
I'm rather new to the cell phone thingy but quite experienced on other embedded systems, and in particular with this AVR.
If somebody knows some forum / persons that are already active I would be willing to join.

You have quite a mission ahead of you. However AVR development does exist, however maybe you should be looking towards the ARM development for new SEMC phones. By the way, IDA is a good program

ARM is mostly modem/codec related. Would also be interesting although I've less of an idea of what I could code. some video codec maybe
