Oh man I just can’t get this thing to work.

I have gone through loads of threads looking for a solution but to no avail.
Problem is I’ve installed the dss -25 and driver’s (from se website) and se file manager (also from se), looked at what com port the dss is on (com 3) enabled this in phone monitor and every time I go into SE file manager I get “not connected”.
The little black phone icon on the task bar either stays normal or I get a little yellow tick pop up on it for half a sec and then off, I know the ticks supposed to go green to show its connected as I got it to work on my old pc but don’t think I did anything different with the new pc.

Has anyone got any idea what’s happening or how to fix this problem.

Also when I try SEUS I get up to a certain point and always get the message “the device is not turned on or your phone is not fully charged” (it is to both).

Anyone else have these problems?

Dunno...

Try power cycling the phone
Try installing modem drivers for the phone
Try uninstalling/reinstalling all the drivers and software

Most of all, try FMA instead of the lousy software that SE supply.

On the SEUS thing I think I read somewhere that you shouldn't have the mains charger attached when you try it as this throws the software out. I did it on my work 'puter with w2k from scratch yesterday and it worked with no power attached.

Sorry that should have had the info that it was on Orange in it.
