What was your first impression of the K700i on the day you bought it?and did it meet your expectations? The reason I ask because I'm getting a brand new K700i on contract (my Dad will pay my monthly bils,ha ha...)l,hopefully this coming Tuesday.I know so much info about this phone.

First thing I noticed about it was the superb sharp screen res. Next thing I noticed was it's slight unattractiveness, it's very square!

At least its not as ugly as the Nokia 6630 6600 and N-Gage.And what was your first impression of the graphics of the 3D games pre-installed?

Tennis game is ok. Mini 3d racing game is better and a free download. All in all, phone ok. Screen brilliant.

Eh...
Your topic has been open for less than two houres...

My first impression of the K700 was fairly "down to earth".
I'd seen the adds, the topics of praise here and had great expectations to it. When I had it in my hand the first time I thought; OK, looks as good as I thought, screen is as good as I thought, the meny is as good as i thought. Cool phone!
But I must admit it was a bit of a downer. I had too high expectations from what I'd heard and all in all it was just another new phone from . Cool, good looking but not WOW!

Now it's tucked in a drawer at work for coworkers who forgot their phone a t home to borrow for the day.

i was disappointed. the t serie was more welcome for me, the k7 is more a "sony" and the second apart of the brand name has been lost i am afraid with the enter of that serie....

When I opened the box, I loved the size of it. it was much smaller then i expected caused I was used to lugging a p800 in my pocket (not fun)

When I turned it on I was blown away by the sharpness of the screen. Much better than the recent P800

After a long time tho I releazied it isnt so small, and the screen is good but not great...

I have the K700i and when I first got it my first reaction was Damn! then I had alot of issues with it poor battery consumption (I charge it every day and I really dont use much of the features alot) Phonebook limitation and problems-I cant save more than one mobile number, work number etc. for a contact, when I call Mike the calls states that I called John.
The screen is really good but the camera is not that great some of the pics ive taken with my Nokia 3650 canbe compared to many taken with my K700i under similiar conditions.
Hard to clean dust gets everywhere,I tried putting paper in the keypad like the edges of paper to get out the dirt and this is only 50% effective, the camera is also hard to clean.
You can pull the phone apart to clean it,however, that is not a risk im willing to take.
I wish it had a memory slot and didnt have shared memory or have dynamic memory wtv.As I can only save 10 notes I need much more storage space for notes than that I have around 70 notes on my Nokia 3650.
But the size, sleekness of the phone and the screen quality are good in my opinion;and all things considered I still like the phone.
