I am having problems connecting my S700i to my computer via the sync station.

I have installed the pc suite and then installed the drivers for the DSS-25. when i put the phone in the holder it asked for my phone name and sim name, which i input, it then asked if i wanted to sync the phone time with the computer which i said yes to - by this time i was really excited, it was working.
Sadly this is as far as i got.
There is a new link on my desktop saying 'my phones' when i double click on it says 'marks s700i (which i would expect). I click on that then on say memory and soon after that an error message comes up saying 'unable to connect - an unexpected error has occured' (very descript!) and when i click on ok and other window saying a run-time error has occured in explorer and thats the end of that!

And ideas people?

Thanks
Mark

Sounds like your installation of the is corrupted.

Also get the latest updates for win xp (i am assuming thats what you are using), clean out your temporary folder in internet explorer. This is to eliminate any spyware/resource grabbinghidden software.

Then download the latest software and re-install software. Restart your machine and give it a bash. Also make sure you memory stick is inserted correctly.
