Please can someone tell me about the different colour of the signal bars in top left-hand corner of the Sony Ericsson T610 - sometimes they are green, and sometimes they flash orange!

Thanks.

Red, low signal. Orange, medium signal. green, strong signal. You can judge the signal strength by the height of the bars.

The colours change with the signal stregnth. Gree is good, orange, ok and red is poor reception. The colour changes as the bars go up and down.

Is there a site where I can compare network coverage and strength of UK mobile networks?

I have just changed networks from Vodafone to T-Mobile and find coverage non-existant in areas where it used to be strong!

@ Pradhika: Always fun having you around, waxing philosophical and all. The same colour differentiation is applied to battery power icon.

It doesnt bother me either. But those nokia's have a steady strength while ours is playing "pick a random strength."
