k700i vodafone just about to flash with TM 1.47 (HELP) |

Hi, my k700i is new today and it is sooo Vodafoney that it sucks. I have got a credit and ordered a T28 unlock cable. (I have read all the posts on this site)!
Just wondered if anyone had flashed their k700i on vodafone to de-brand it so MP3's can be set as ring tones. I tried the Sony DRM package but although a key appears next to the sound I cannot use it as a ring tone.
Is it easy to do - I'm quite scared as I don't want to ruin it. I clicked on the "?" next to the drop down menu of the phone type in 1.47. Do I just follow these instructions and it's done?
A walkthrough of how to use it and what firmware to use would be great! And do I check the DTR and RTS boxes?

Hi there, i dont use TMS very often, an Setool man myself. Give me a second to run through a couple of things and i will get back to you asap.
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Ok, done a spot of quick reconiscence on TMS. Yes very simple to use although Setool is alot better, and that is fact.
Ok no DRM packager needed when decustomized.
Dont worry you wont ruin your phone, it can always be recovered.
Just had a look at the instructions on the TMS and they are very simple to follow, you should have no problems.
Some points to remember
Use the lowest speed (more reliable) 115200
Makes sure your battery is fully charged
Follow instructions carefully
Use firmware R2AE033 and if you wish to use english language use EU1
Follow their instuctions and you should have no problems.
