Do you think SE will have built-in GPS (Global Positioning System) in their phones in the future?

I don't know if SE will put that feature to their future phones, but it would be very useful, for example when one has an accident in the middle of nowhere and one wants to call a rescue team.

Gps phones are available. I read somewhere that a team in alaska got lost and used the gps to link to satellite and report their location.

Here is a link to a manufacturer of GPS mobile phones...

So it is possible that may integrate a GPS system into the Pxxx series.

well its not exactly a feature everybody uses, i guess getting GPS custom fitted into a cell phone or as an optional feature when buying would be better imo

In all honesty, it is possible and i think given a bit more time and development, it will be available in 10 years.
The cost is the only thing that is holding it back! Remember the iridium group and its satphone venture??
