How exactly can I tell that my phone is fully charged? |

I've noticed on my T610 and my new K700i, that you can charge them overnight and it will still show "Charging" in the morning.
Does anyone know a way to get it to say, "Hey, I'm done now!"?

The battery display is fairly accurate. And i don't think There's any harm in leaving a phone still charging even after it has been fully charged.

Do you charge it while the phone is off or on?
When charging the phone and the phone is off, I have seen many SE phone still charging.. and I think this is not good for the battery at all.. Cause overcharging is very bad for li-ion batteries..
(don't hit me if I am wrong)

The general idea is dont leave a phone plugged to the mains for more than 24 hours at a stretch.

Why? My t230 charger from full flat to full in less than an hour and discharges it in 4 to 5 days.

YES overcharging is damaging the batteri!
But the phone and charger stops charging when it full to avoid overcharging!
But I dont know about the problem when charging the phone over night and having the phone switched off.. There is a difference with optimized charging and only charging... but what it is I dont know..

well it does.... but now days phones a equip with.. auto off charging. so when its full.. it stops... so its ok. and if u charge it over night.. and realise in the morning it is still charging, it is due to.. the auto off charging feature... meaning ur phone is on the whole night... so the batt life is still draining frm this.... so once it reach a certain limit.. the phone charges again... so when u wake up.. u'll see its charging...
conclusion... if u know u charged the last time.. u'll know the phone is charged.. point is.. batt life shud be ard 98% so its all gd!

When the phone is charged while it's ON, you can't overcharge it coz of optimized charging, but when it's OFF... I really don't know :-(
