That also gives rise to the possibility of deleting something accidentally when using the phone, like suppose a fly comes buzzing and you try to wave it away while holding the phone and poof ! that all important text msg u were going to read is gone

I'm sure their is some sort of fale safe device built in,it can't just randomly start deleteing information everytime the phone shakes!

When was the last time a fly sat on your phone? ...But i do understand your point. [addsig]

i meant when you have the text msg or some other stuff opened or selected

and its spelled 'fail' not 'fale'
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!

MyOrigo's MyDevice had motion sensing, though not to this extent. Its not the first phone to have it.

Yes i do recall the myOrigo phone, all that did was tilt the screen position to panorama position automatically. There is a thread on that handset here: MyOrigo MyDevice Tilt-A-Phone Smartphone

The 3220 also has an accelerometer in it too (well the case does), you can play games by tilting the phone, not a bad idea in theory...but in practise its pretty crap

I like this fun idea - surely everyone wrote their name (or obscenities) as kids using this very technique with sparklers on bonfire night?

Like mince-meat said in his comment, "as kids" imho i think this is just another gimmick to sell another fancy phone.

However with that said, it is an innovation of note i would like to see being used on other devices and maybe a good tool for blind users?
