I ran a search but nothing seems to come up for this problem
I have a unbranded k700 and bought a dss-25 to upgrade the firmware
all went well until the update site told me my operater does not support this
I am on vodafone my firmware is R2A041 prgCXC 125821_EU_1_C
I bought the phone new it has no vodacrap on it any ideas welcome

Whats the problem with the dss? As of now you cant update branded k7 with official se- but u can with 3rd party updater;

no probs with the dss at all when the upgrade program starts it says your provider does not support this (or words to that affect)but my phone is unbranded.No branding on it at all it came in the se box not the voda one it plays mp3s as ringtones etc
i cant understand why the firmware upgrade wont work

i just received my syncstation, and on the bottom it says dss-25, and then when i plug it into my USB it says dss-20, but i don't think this is the problem. My problem is that i can't connect my station with my PC. whenever i press sycronize, it just it fails cuz no connection! WHY!??!?!?!? i already dl'd the driver from the SE site, cuz i didnt' get the cd with the station. WTS WRONG!?!? i tried installing and reinstalling, it might be because of the COM port probs, cuz currently i have BT too, but i already disabled it and the station still doesnt' work. I went onto the online update for my K700i and go the preinstallation stuff, but when it loads the application, it says "No Syncstation Found" WHYWHWYWHWYWHWYWHWH :'( i'm so sad now, i've been trying to fix it for the past 5 hours and i still havent' find out wts' happening! CAN anyone PLZZZZ HELP ME! PLZZZZZZZ |

i finally got it to connect to my computer, but on the online update, it still says it can't find syncstation is there soemthing wrong with the site, or is it my prob...? |
