Samsung's irda is weird indeed. I had to send pics to a pc to upload them using something called "EasyGPRS" - to date I'm still wondering what gprs has to do with infrared.

Samsung phones doesn't support transfer of files between devices through IR.
There's nothing wrong with your SE's IR.

It does, but samsung is not compatible with SE. I think that their phones are compatible wit nokia IR.
