Well, i think the K700i is absolutely brilliant! Ok, it doesnt have expandable memory, or a megapixel camera, but i dont really care. Its a phone, a good one, a brilliant one!

I hated mine... So i sold it... Then i bought a V3... Loved it... Then i bought a S700... And i love them both! |

I hate it so much. Its my third se to date but its been through three fascias, the battery cover is off, the keypad is squeaky, batt cover has a tendency to slide off, software bugs that make me go nuts (even after updates)..... they dont care anymore about the quality. If only i could have se software in a sharp phone or sthing with better build quality like samsung |

For its class, k700 is great !
@piettapipe - i think your phone may be 1 in 1000 which is seriously defective, i think you should blame SE and not the k700. And before you think i'm an idiot, i would also like to say that my k700 is seriously defective too and i'm getting a 6600 to replace it

Hmmm... It offers a special feel that no other phone can. But after sometime, it gets you for the worse. You will love it for a few months and then you will start hating it. (Personally, this should be locked.)

(Assuming you're from the UK, sorry if you're not) Try and buy the phone from somewhere like Carphone Warehouse to ensure that the phone is fully unlocked and unbranded, as SE intend it to be.
EDIT: It would help if I bothered to read the user info. Do they have CPW in South Africa?

Had my k7 for 5 ish months now. As a phone it's good. Camera is ok, but the lens is small, as per all cam phones. Batt cover was loose, but a squeeze on either side sorted this. Screen is excellent, pin sharp for viewing and is best phone screen I've seen. Looked at many before buying this, and not disappointed-yet. Overall  :-):-):-):-)/5

It's not really perfect but it's the most practical phone for me -- features and price. I've had it since August and will probably keep this until a worthwhile upgrade is available (not necessarily SE).

the k700 is a great phone for the price but i heard that cingular is launching the s710 pretty soon for $399.

the best advice i can give you is dont open the charging cover unneccesarily, otherwise in 2 weeks it wont fit anymore and mr razor will have to do the job for you |
