How many of these threads do you intend to start before you tell us which phone you are talking about?

Goto advanced in the message menu and check the memory. No subject cannot be changed. If you have a t630 i think the my friends is in the desktop itself

I agree with HjJ. It certainly would help if you would mention which handset you have as someone could give a step by step process on solving your question.

I dont think you can check how much message memory space is left in k700.

To check how many messages you have, enter file manager->more->memory status and scroll down.

You cant change the subject of the message i think

'My friends' option is the third option in the message menu, some branded phones dont have it. Is your phone branded ?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!

If I remember right (I sold my K700i last Sept). The 'my friends' option is in the messaging section from the desktop (the icon with the envelope) and not actually on the desktop screen like the T630.
The K700 uses the same desktop layout as the S700 and the S700 'my friends' option is in the messaging section.

There is no way that I'm aware of to check how much sms memory used/left. To check the phones internal memory, goto settings, general, phone status.
An alternative is to goto the file manager and select the 'more' button, memory status. This will tell you how much memory you have used for each feature of the phone.

Again as for changing the message header on a text there is no possable way as far as I know.

ya i mean mms, my phone is branded i think thats why i cant find "my friends" because i've looked everywhere and cant find it, the other day my message memory was full and this little window came up saying ti was full and showing me the folders or whatever, my inbox had 60 and my sent ones had 40, the phone only has space for 100 messages? or this is just a coincidence?

It can take upto to 100 texts. Not sure of mms's, i got close too 150 at one time. After you type in the number, Use more and then advanced to get a new screen. Here you will find the subject. Edit that. Editting the subject field will not interfere with message body.
