I hope the memory card isn't restricted to 128 mb as in the S700.

Actually there are plans to release a 256MSD in the very near future I think. |

the only way that could do that is to make it a "select" as in the full size 256mb memory stick duo (not PRO duo). i.e. 2 banks of 128mb manually selectable
but lets not get into all that again methinks

and indeed it is the "select" that I was speaking of (its also full size memory stick not duo)
also as it says.. it has "128mb x 2 capacity"

masseur, ahh ok - sorry about that. I have heard people talking about genuine 256 cards though.
Why is it that Pro's can support higher memory but plain old MSD's can't? Is there a technical reason or have Sony just neglected further development since Pro Duo's came out? |
