I hope the memory card isn't restricted to 128 mb as in the S700.

govigov,

1. Don't know.
2. MSD
3. Q2/Q3 2005? Just a guess.
4. 176*220, but 262k. Same physical dimensions as K700i.

I think Hermione's real name is 'Granger' (as in the character from Harry Potter novels). I'm waitng to see some more info about it.

it says "Memory Stick Duo" on the pic, not PRO Duo, which unfortunatelly means 128 MB limit

the only way that could do that is to make it a "select" as in the full size 256mb memory stick duo (not PRO duo). i.e. 2 banks of 128mb manually selectable

but lets not get into all that again methinks

Thanks. More doubts. Why did they put in new connectors? Is speaker the same or is it like the v800?

masseur, ahh ok - sorry about that. I have heard people talking about genuine 256 cards though.

Why is it that Pro's can support higher memory but plain old MSD's can't? Is there a technical reason or have Sony just neglected further development since Pro Duo's came out?

Does anyone know what this is to be called? Is it a K or a T series? It sure does look like the all new T Series to me?
