Man,those were for serious the good old days so it’s nice Motorola wanted to play up the nostalgia factor and hit us with a 2004 edition of their classic StarTAC handset. It will apparently feature a single 128x160 pixel 262k color display, up to 190 minutes talk and 185 hours standby time, and maintains that classic chic physique at only 3.4 x 1.8 x 0.78-inches in size (in the smaller-batteried version, presumably).No word yet on availability.But as always will keep you posted!

from my searches it seems this has been out since early in the year but is limited to the South Korean market and it seems to be CDMA only
there seems to be 2 versions, the Startac 2004
and the Startac 2004 SE (special edition)

There was a startac rainbow aswell. Looked like a parrot and was beautiful ;-)

I once bought a housing for my startac which was United Colours of Benetton and was yellow, red and blue (or green - can't remember now)
once I fitted it onto the phone it lasted one day before I realised how horrible it looked and went back to classic black
