Looks an awful lot like all those anonymous Windows Mobile-powered Smartphones out there, so odds are they’re just rebranding somebody else’s something or other, but the tri-band GSM/GPRS AXIA A108 doesn’t actually run on Windows Mobile it runs on Windows CE 4.2. Does have a lot of other stuff you may be interested in, like a 1.3 megapixel digital, a 2.2-inch, 240x320, 262,000 color LCD touchscreen, 64MB of flash ROM, 64MB of RAM, and an miniSD memory card slot. http://www.myaxia.com

The AXIA A108 is the world's smallest PDA phone based on the Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2 OS. It is also the first candy bar PDA phone on the Microsoft platform to feature an alpha-numeric keypad. The device looks more like a phone then a PDA and measures 110x48x22mm and weights 120g. It is designed for the mobile phone user who desires the convenience of a small, handy device - much like the mobile phone he is familiar with - that also delivers all the capabilities of a PDA. The idea behind an alpha-numeric keypad is to enable the user to easily input messages for SMS and email, using just one hand.

The AXIA A108 features tri-band (900, 1800, 1900 MHz) GSM and GPRS Class 10 connectivity. The phone will also be the first PDA phone that integrates a 1.3MP CMOS camera with 240x320 to 960x1280 photo resolution in JPEG format and a 2.2", 240x320 (QVGA) pixel resolution touch screen at 262K colors. The AXIA A108 offers a video and voice recorder/player, mp3 player, games, instant messaging, Microsoft Word and Excel document editor, mini SD expansion slot, IrDA and a loudspeaker. The supporting formats are as follows: 1) video formats - MPEG 4 and H.263 up to 30 frames per second 2) audio formats - recording in AMR NB and AAC formats.

The battery is a powerful one - 1300 mAh and offers up to 3.5 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time.

let's wait & see

AXIA A108 pda phone looks far away better than i-mate jam in my opinion. The only drawback is the miniSD, so you cannot add, for eg, wifi or other adaptors via the slot..

And does it has bluetooth? I can't see anywhere..

If is so, the company did a fatal mistake. Because of this, many people will get/try something else (including masseur, i guess)

I'm a heavy pocket pc user and everytime I'm working (playing) on a smartphone running some windows/symbian based os without touchscreen, I keep reaching for a stylus that isn't there...

Even just using my K700 I keep wanting to tap the time to set the alarm or tap the battery gauge to check the exact battery strength!

Now, the AXIA A108 PDA Phone comes with the added option of a GPS navigation solution, complete with an in-vehicle cradle and a comprehensive map of Thailand to help the AXIA user find his way easily and conveniently.

The navigation unit is facilitated by a space-efficient cradle customised to deliver excellent satellite reception wherever you may travel to within Thailand. Simply place the AXIA A108 into the silver cradle and you are ready to go. In addition, the cradle acts as an in-vehicle charger while the amplifier enables audio directions to be clearly received, to enhance safety while driving.
