Go get yourself a bluetooth dongle, install the se pc suite or a third party sw like float's mobile agent and off you go. welcome to esato.

With the bluetooth dongle - how does it work? Will i have to have anything else to connect to the pc or does the dongle pick up the mobile phone and send mp3's etc?

The Bluetooth adapter will connect via a pc usb port and will come with a driver/software disc. Mine's a belkin dongle and when loading the software it sets up a file that your phone can browse.
Sending pictures is easy, you can either select send via bluetooth on your phone or drag the files over from your pc.

Try this if you haven't already......
In bluetooth options on your phone make sure your phone is set to visible.....then whilst still in bluetooth options select devises /new devise which hopefully will find your pc.

Thanx i've tried that but it just says no devices found. What else can i try? Do you think it might be something to do with the dongle software? |

Tricky one....
Have you tried un-installing your bluetooth software and then re-installing ? Sometimes a simple re-installation will sort out any problems.
Make sure that once un-installed you take the dongle out then re-install the software....the instructions that came with the software will probably tell you to install the dongle partway through the installation (mine did). Make sure you don't have any other applications running as this may corrupt the installation.
Sorry mate, but I'm not familiar with the b/tooth device your running so don't have any first hand experience with it in terms of settings etc. There may also be a visibilty setting for your pc that you need to select ?
@kikzen
Have you got yourself a bluetooth dongle yet ?

spin_spin_sugar.... u have to set up ur device(k700i) and use the quick connect feature of the BTW software(on ur PC) and then u can use the remote control feature where u have ur pc mouse control from the k700i key pad.. ur joystick on k700i <=> mouse on PC..
seamless connectivity.
@tess
heres the link to the k700i softwares.. and u have to download any sony ericsson comm suite which includes the mobile monitor..
