Some nice picture I've taken on my sailing trip around greece last week:
unfortunately I was so eager making sure not to drop my phone that you can notice my finger covering the lens partly... |

Thats a good shot, your v800 must still be pretty new and no dirt on the lens..

@themarques
it's from December 3rd 2004... But I clean the lens from time to time and make sure to rotate it to the inside as often as possible.
It took me about 30 tries to get one of the dolphins right while jumping. They are just not predictible enough ...
Here are some other ones fron the Acropolis in Athens:
Really impressive monuments!!! |

no - that's just another dolphin and it was very alive . There were about 15 of them racing with us, but as sailing boats seem to be too slow for them they changed course after a few minutes. |

Nice pics. The Acropolis is in Greece! I thought it was Rome.
I love the Dolphin pics btw. |

@goldenface:
I think you mixed that with the "Forum Romanum" or the "Colloseum", those are in Rome (very impressive, too).
In October I'll visit the Pyramids in Egypt. I'll post some pics then, too ... |

@kimi - Thanks for expounding on my 'Q' mate! Looks like you are a globe-trotter pal Pyramids of Egypt I just have a request here dude, when in Egypt (making the tour), can you ask your would-be tour guide with a very serious face, how did Cleopatra really die. As I watched the Discovery Channel about her story, some says that she was bitten by a Cobra (snake). But a skeptic made a thorough investigation and concluded that she was killed by a certain male ruler of Egypt too (just forgot his name). Thanks!

@JN
as far as I know Cleopatra committed suizide by snake poison or a Cobra bite, while under political pressure from Rome and Egypt being invaded by Octavian (Augustus). So I would say both may be true in some way ... And anyway: we won't know exactly, it's too long ago... |

@kimi - Yup, I guess you were right there mate But after watching that episode via cable, I am truly convinced that Cleopatra was killed by one of the young rulers then (forgot the name), and not by a SNAKE! Nice pics . . .
