yes... the screen in T68i is brighter... the display in T68m has version R1A while the display in T68i has version R3A...

damn it! is it possible to change the LED for the screen at the service centre? cos i can hardly see anything under bright sun light @.@

i have 2 T68's, one brighter than the other...a friends T68i is in between the brightness of both of mine.

mine is made in Malaysia, i heard the screen of the ones made in Malaysia are better than the ones made in China...... but the ones made in China got better signal strength..... but i rather go for the better LCD

the service point can't just change the screen LED's... they have to change the entire display. And I doubt they wanna put in a T68i display in a T68m since doesn't pay that service then.

mine were both made in Malaysia yet one screen is duller than the other...signal strength is fine on both.

theres always been slight differences in screen whiteness since before the T68i and now it's available the screens appear to be exaclty the same the some being whiter than others....it's not dependant on model but people will believe anything.

a new LCD with frame should cost no more than £15 - £20 - for exchange rates goto www.xe.net

any more than that and your being charged for labour.

What are your contrast settings ? I mean how do you calibrate your phone ?

u have mentioned that the screen is too bright on your fone! And that you want to change how light it is!

I know this may sound rather stupid but have you however tried changing the contrast on the phone in the settings??? U can also change some of the contrast in the menu >*<<*<* under service settings!!

My screen is not to bright . but i was just wondering what the best way is to calibrate your screen ? and how you guys do that. I know it is possible to calibrate my screen in the service menu. but isn't there some test screen ?

when I press >*<<*<* Í can see mine is R1A, When I remove the battry I see it's R3A, and my phone is made in Malaysia..
Strangt right..
It's was on service before couse (was Made in Sweden) the phone was overdriveng by a Car.. When I got phone bake I got new Key light.. the shop I did bought the phone did say I got a new one. I don't know if I got a new phone or they change out some stuffs..
