well, a birthday happens once a year, and is a very special time for people, so i am sure they would appreciate you spending that extra 60 seconds putting their birthday as an appointment

The other option, if it's a boy/girlfriend, is to forget it on one year. Rest assured, you will NEVER forget it again!!!!!
Same goes for anniversaries.

I use happy days on my palm, that's the best way to remember that special dates, a java app for T610 like that would be great.

I found a way...
only if you own a Nokia though..
Set the borthday app in the nokia calendar,
Send it via Infrared.
It registers in the K700i as a recurrent alarm !
Dont know why you cant set these stupid things manually though..

....i think he's really saying, if you got a nokia (or any other phone apart from K700), you dont need anything else (outlook or B/T dongle) to set 'recurrent' appointments - alllllllllll other mobile just do it!

And??? My point of view is that anyone that buys a k700 should get a bt dongle...and for people in that situation, the problem of setting recurrent events just doesnīt exist...what do i care about using other phones to send the reminders from???
