Good afternoon everyone and welcome back to the couch. It has been a while since anyone sat on the couhc, but onece more it's ready to recieve the members of Esato. Joining me today is one of Esato's newest members. Not only is he new, he is also a Nokia fan. To get his take on Esato and what he thinks of how Nokia users are treated here I spoke with M_R.

What is the best thing about Esato?

M_R says:
I feel that the best thing about Esato and the thing that also makes it unique is its multifarious content. Right from a discussion forum, which I think is great...where one can express opinions, get the latest info on a wide range of topics, meet people and make friends !! Then we have other aspect of Esato; namely, News, Reviews, downloads...There is something for everone.

Who is your favourite member of Esato?

M_R says:
Well.....none till now...but ya some have struck me...I mean like their thoughts, opionions....but no favorites

Who is your favourite moderator?

M_R says:
Again...no one till now

What is your favourite Esato moment?

M_R says:
My first topic ...End of the world...it received a variety of responses....I never thought that here..in Esato ppl would actually notice such a topic...It was a nice suprise !!

What is your least favourite Esato moment?

M_R says:
SE v/s Nokia wars.....As I have alsways said...peace for all ...love to all..

You haven't been a member here very long; how did you find Esato?

M_R says:
Esato has been a kind of "wakening up" experience for me. As of today I am a die hard fan of Esato. In other words, Its just incredible !!

Have you made friends here yet?

M_R says:
Nope....none till now

You mentioned to me that you thought this thread was for an elite; have you found it easy to integrate into the community here?

M_R says:
Ha ! nice one....some times I find myself as the black sheep here...reason :- I am a Nokia guy...and most ppl here are SE..so that sometimes makes me feel out of place....but as I said...this community is so vast, so immense that one can never really be lost here. There is a lot to lear here....so I feel at ease and at home whenever I log in.

Which mobile are you currently using?

M_R says:
Nokia 7250i, Nokia 3230

Which mobile are you most looking forward to?

M_R says:
The 8800 and 6810 (saving money for that )

Do you have a message for Esato?

M_R says:
Ya...That we Nokia guys are given an equal platform here...and that please...guys you who run this site...please..dont ever close it down !!!

Please join me again soon when I shall be chatting with mrao and the ever radiant Miss Copperfield.

I used to wonder what "old Esato" and "new Esato" meant. Later on, the fact that these phrases have been uttered by Esatonians of different join dates has convinced me that there are as many meanings as there are members who find reason to express displeasure at the "present." Some of them joined in 2002, others as late as last quarter 2004.

A diehard 80s heavy metaller will always say that 90s grunge is talentless excrement. A 90s grunger will always say that 80s heavy metal is dumb, impersonal, and leaden. Who is right?

Personally, I'll always feel like a newbie. Maybe because I find comfort in being non-presumptuous.

I know scotsboyuk misses a lot of things, a lot of members from his "olden" days. Therefore his reopening of this thread shows a renewal of faith... in something. Conversely, when he had it closed down, it felt like a sort of slap on a hazy mass of anonymous (newbie) cheeks.

Scots, the mildest enthusiasm is always better than the littlest cynicism. You may find fewer compelling reasons to ask people to sit on your couch these days but this thread means a lot to many members, many of them quiet lurkers. Good luck and have fun, as you always did.

i think he may also have wanted to closed it because he didn't think there was anyone interesting enough to interview at the time.

obviously means i'm just a boring old fart drooling in my soup then

I said I was going to be on the couch, scots told me. But like any other great mind, scots needs some time to arrange things...
