Joining me on the couch is one of Team Esato, in a rare interview I have the pleasure of speaking with another one of the chaps who helps to make sure that Esato runs as smoothly as it can. Please join me in welcoming arnoldc.

What is the best thing about Esato?

arnoldc says:
It's about meeting people from different walk of lives around the globe. Having new friends, acquaintances. It bigger than just being a Sony Ericsson owner.

Who is your favourite member of Esato?

arnoldc says:
I do not play favorites, so anybody who is a good member is in.

Who is your favourite moderator?

arnoldc says:
no comment.

What is your favourite Esato moment?

arnoldc says:
When a new member comes on board.

What is your least favourite Esato moment?

arnoldc says:
When I had to moderate the "war" between the Filipinos and Greeks, a very long time ago. I had to stay logged on for more than a day and run after all the nasty posts.

All the moderators who have sat on the couch so far have been rather tight lipped when it came to sharing any moderator anecdotes; can you share any anecdotes with us?

arnoldc says:
n/c

Who is the funniest member of Team Esato?

arnoldc says:
n/c

Without giving away any details, have you ever banned someone? How did you feel about it?

arnoldc says:
I have no abilility to ban myself, but i've recommended one or two in the past. I felt that I did my job as a moderator.

Which mobile are you currently using?

arnoldc says:
T68i

Which mobile are you most looking forward to?

arnoldc says:
nothing at the moment.

Do you have a message for Esato?

arnoldc says:
Same as previous answer.

Thank you to my guest, arnoldc, and I hope you can join me once again when my guests will include jellyellie, Cyanx7 and laffen.

It was nice to hear from one of the quieter mods of esato....Shame he could'nt reveal a bit more about himself....would have been nice though.

@davo

If you have a look through the interviews you will see that there is quite an eclectic mix, ranging from newbies to veterans to the legendary to moderators.

@scotsboyuk- I hope you'll be releasing your Xmas Edition 2004 - Interview - soon As I have told you back then, that if released by the eve of Christmas Day, probabilities are very HIGH that it will be viewed by the 'majority' come . . . Valentine's Day ! So, it will be prudent enough to release it - NOW ! . . .

Welcome, once again, to the couch. Today I have with me one of the few Esatonians to be considered a legend. Perhaps unknown to newer members, he, along with pachy, fijbert, shithappens and many others, helped to create the Rubbish Forum. He is without a doubt the King of Garbage, all else pale in comparison. It is my great honour and privelage to be chatting today, with the one; the only; the ever funny, cyanx7.

What is the best thing about Esato?

cyanx7 says:
U can get a lot of info about mobiles. Specially the best mobiles in the
world: NOKIA!!!
OOOPS!!! Sorry! Sorry!!! I meant SE!!! What does SE stand for?... I
remembered. It's in the tip of my fingers... It's... It's... Son of Eric
something, right?
U can meet a lot of mobile geeks and pretend to be one o' them untill u're cover gets blown... (it's a 5/10 minutes curve if u're REALLY careful...).

Who is your favourite member of Esato?

cyanx7 says:
I can't really name a member. I have a lot of friends in esato. My old
garbage people will always be in my heart: Shithappens my brother and ally and all the malaysian crew, Pachy that crazy old fart, Vlamm my honest to god sister and Bjerkebanen, my honest to god sister too.
I also love to hate that canadian guy... What was his name... He named me his favourite member... Jesus - somebody help me out here!!!... FIJBERT!!!!
That no good lizard from the planet Hump!
I also have a special love for my Portuguese pals that i abandoned
completely: Grizado and Ares.
I'm sorry guys! I know u had a special place 4 me in u're website, but...
I'll explain below...

Who is your favourite moderator?

cyanx7 says:
Tranquil. Know why? He's got a sence of humour. He's the only one. The others are too serious. Locking up threads and criticizing flames - what a drag...

What is your favourite Esato moment?

cyanx7 says:
The Hump Lizard war. I cooked it up: it had to be good!
I also liked when 3/4 people tryed to flame me at the same time: i always took one or two with me before i went down in flames and the computer crashed.
Oh! And the interview thread...

What is your least favourite Esato moment?

cyanx7 says:
When garbage threads started being controled. I have to admit we did
post like epilectic midgets on speeds, but still...

Why did you leave Esato?

cyanx7 says:
For 2 reasons. First my internet was removed at work due to the abuse i perpetrated every single day. I spent hours at it...! Second, because i fell in love. Yes LOOVE, u goddamned phone geeks!!!! It's when u meet a woman that actualy LIKES u and lie to her a lot so she never finds out who u really are...
There's no more time to lose in my life now... Which is a shame because i love a lot of people i like here at esato and in the portuguese SE site where i had the honour of being a mobile game critic 4 a while. Sorry again, Filipe and Antonio! Could somebody warn them that i'm talking about this in the portuguese thread?

You are, without a doubt, the true King of Garbage, out of respect I won't even use the word 'Rubbish' there. How do you see the current crop of Garbage posters?

cyanx7 says:
I really can't badmouth anything about it scotsboy... Or should i
say, The KING can't tell the executioner to slice some heads... No
beheading this week folks: do drop by next monday.
I haven't been here in a while now, so i can't have a valid opinion...
People with whom i still keep contact tell me that the site went to hell in garbage humour terms and that's like a dagger through my poor hiena heart, really...

Why do you think that Esatonians still look back on your posts with a smile?

cyanx7 says:
Because they were funny. I obviously lost touch, but anyway...
It's the same reason why the portuguese guys liked my mobile game reviews: i really didn't give a shit about the game. My mind was set on making fun of it: the worst the game was the funnier the review...
Here's my regards to the greek programmers...

Would you think about returning if pachy were to return?

cyanx7 says:
Pachy* must be the funniest esato member i ever knew, but returning now is out of the question. Sorry friends.
(*I think he was also the oldest... What was his age again?
)

What would you do if you were moderator for a day?

cyanx7 says:
I'd fool around with new members and lock threads without any reason
and logic all day, what else?

Which mobile are you currently using?

cyanx7 says:
My game packed Z600 with dark blue plastic thingies.

Which mobile are you most looking forward to?

cyanx7 says:
I'm not. I love this one. It's cool! It folds with a click. I really
lurve things that go click... Like switchblades and lighters and guns!
Aaaand my ex-mother in law's head. Click!

Do you have a essage for Esato?

cyanx7 says:
I don't know what 'essage' means, i'm sorry. My mother tongue is
portuguese. I think my father tongue is portuguese too. (i'll have to ask
him...) Thanx 4 this oportunity scotsboy. Congratulations 4 the originality in this thread, i think that's really what esato needs the most: original ideas. And brainiac nerds, of course.

[Note: it was supposed to read 'message', but 'essage' seems to have worked out much better! ]

A very big thank you to my guest, cyanx7, and also to Vlammetje for helping to arrange this interview. I hope you will all be able to join me again soon, when my guests will include jellyellie and Esato founder, laffen.
