Considering the hype that RAZR is getting, i see it getting a ton of custom ROMs.

Exactly, i cant imagine owning an ugly phone, to this day the X10 is an absolute beaut and its so unique, definetly dont regret picking it over the Desire at all, its design, the way it feels in your hand, amazing its one of many things appreciate about it, thats another reason i like the XE its curved edges and the screen curves into the phone so its recessed so its protected and the phone will be easy to hold despite its large size just like the X10.

Just watched a couple of Youtube videos on the Galaxy Note (what there is at this moment in time) and I'm having seconds thoughts.Its got nothing to do with the size of the phone,its just doesnt have that same alluring factor I got when I first saw the X10.I will however consider its sibling the Galaxy S II or Im hoping come upgrade time,the Galaxy S III.But fot now I think the Note has been ditched.

Samsungs are like that, they lack soul lol, its hard to be very excited about them, not much detail is paid to their design etc...

OH dear, that means Apple can sue almost all manufacturers, what douche bag of a judge awarded them that patent??? Im getting sick of all this letigation and what not, hopefuly the patent is more specific eg. is slide to unlock in a bar ,lol, ICS doesnt use a bar.

Not sure which phone yet, Hobbster.
I'm slightly distracted as regards forking out dosh on another phone at the mo, as my ol' XP-running PC is somewhat past its sell-by date and it's s.l.o.w. nowadays (kinda like how the Proteas are batting at the moment... ). I'm considering taking the plunge and getting my first Apple computer, a Mac Mini, which sell for 529 (approx R5400). No CD/DVD drive on the 2011 model though... so an external DVD/CD reader/writer would be needed. 2GB of RAM and 500GB HD is not the latest n' greatest, but Macs are a lot less RAM-hungry to run, so it'll be fine for me.
Windows 7 seems a vast improvement in all aspects, but I'm gatvol of anti-virus software stuff, malware this etc. The final straw was issues with AVG 2012 not supporting XP, so it's either Mac or 7. Not completely made up my mind yet though.

Ja Wangs Its time to move on from XP now.Ive been using 7 for a while now and am very happy with it.Antivirus,I just use the free Avast and dont have any virus problems.Does the job well.Theres nothing worse than a slow PC,so rather fork out the cash on upgrading your computer over buying a phone for the time been.

Tsepz Saw a review on YouTube for the Galaxy S II.It is lightning fast.In some instances too fast (if there is such a thing) Example,the Gallery,that cool animation effect is kind of lost because it just flies through them like theres no tomorrow.Other than that its a hell of an upgrade.I'd get one if my upgrade was now.He had only 2 issues.Said the speaker is a joke,very tinny and that the phone gets really hot at times.Other than that,9.5 out of 10.

What's up fellas?

Been away for a week on a team-building course at work. This time we had to do without any cell phones, tablets/computers and tv. We have become slaves to technology and it is sad and pathetic!

@Tsepz_GP
Yeah, the Razr is getting better every time something is mentioned about it and I am so glad that Moto is doing everything to make sure that the phone gets the very best treatment it can get.

As for Sony taking over, I am waiting for 2013 to see what they come up with, I just don't see them making major changes next year.

@Hobbs

I saw that advert as well, I think they said that you get a tv set when you purchase a Galaxy Note if I am not mistaken.

Sadly they didn't mentioned which tv set or size, obviously, it is likely to be a Samsung.
