Oh, maybe she got the new BB Curve 8900, saw the review of it on youtube, realy nice phone, but i think it maybe missing 3G/HSDPA but got Wi-Fi.

BlackBerry Bold 9000, first of all here is a few pix, (SORRY, low quality, took it with my HTC in very low lit conditions this morning...

The first thing that struck me when i removed the phone from its pouch, that F&^%$ SCREEN IS MARVELOUS. 480 x 320, FFS it blew me away, the phone has a video preview of Speed racer and its in 480x320 mp4 and its brilliant, i can watch a movie on such a screen.

2nd thing was the speed of the UI, NO LAG. Hell i am considering this phone as an upgrade (MTN GOT IT FOR UNDER R250/mo AT THE MO)

I cant believe i fell in love with it so fast... AND the trackball is the bomb...

Looked at the specs on that baby Rhino and it has everything....well almost everything.....2mp camera
Blackberry are doing a 'Nokia' where they put things in one phone and leave out things on another (different combinations) therefore making us buy the different variants.Very clever.
Curve 8900 has a 3mp cam with no 3G.
Storm 9530 has no WLAN.
Just went on GSMArena and with the curve 8900,storm 9500 and 9530 and the Bold 9000 they have 4 phones there that can run with the best of them.
GO BLACKBERRY!
I personally go GA GA over the latest Storm.Think it looks fantabulous.

ANd the best of all, IF the mrs needs an application on the phone, she just needs to mail Blacberry SA and she gets the application, free of charge, the bad part is that she needs to lear everything there is about the phone, coz anyone in Bloem with a blackberry query will be referred to her.... AWW WELL the price you have to pay...

Hey, hello everyone. I haven't been in here for a while now. Nice to see, you chaps are still around and having a good time (as usual)
@Ama, THANKS for the Symbian 'Stuff' you did bother to post me last year. (Huh , Yeah, I know I am 'reacting' a bit late)
I am more into flying and less into cell phones nowadays, but that will change. (What doesn't)
@All: You better support Shoprite Checkers. I've changed from Nokia to that, a while back. And yes, I know, this forum might be 'a bit' off topic.
And lastly, if any of you know of any police man of Indian origin who want to work in J-Bay,please pm me or call +27422006800 and ask for Insp. Mario. I urgently (before the end of March) need to 'redress' the situation at our station. I have advertised the posts internally but it looks like people like to be among their friends and family and we do not have a Indian community here. Of course the government does not give a *** as long as the papers show our station has 1 worker of Indian origin. It does not matter if is a she or a he or a cleaner or a Captain. Let's hope that, after this year, the 'big brains' are finished with the restructuring.
I see the s60 OS is still going strong. Go have a look at the 'phone locator' application. It can be run in 'hidden mode' and you'll get your cell back no matter where you've 'misplaced it'. My wife just got a 6220 classic. For the ones who don't know it, google for its specs and compare that to my oldish N95-8gig. (size, price, etc.)
And finally - Any of you on Twitter? (ok, one is there , how about the rest)
Greetings from Jeffrey's

Hi Mario.Your police station sounds a right ol' mess..Finding someone just to fill the numbers in my book is a crime in itself.Half you guys are overweight and in my eyes not fit to be policeman and woman. They should rope those above mentioned cops in and put them through some standard fitmess test and if they fail give them a chance to redeem themselves and then take the test again and then if they fail again, put them behind a desk or on probation. Its a disgrace.Been a cop just for the sake of just having a job doesnt cut it for me.Surely people arent coming out the academy looking like that.? I just wish someone would sort you guys out.Pump some money your way and jack up the whole system.
Find some way to make you guys feel proud of been policeman

So i watched Will Smith's Seven Pounds, must say, I'm becoming quite the Will fan lately. This is a brilliant movie once again. And I don't care how tough a guy you think you are, but it will at least make you think about crying. It really gives you something to think about...

Its missing a qwerty keypad though, unless they'll release another variant with one... Killer phone nonetheless.

Woohooo! Nea Zealand go 2-0 up in the series.Im lovin this Aussie slump at the mo.The longer it goes on the further we march on as No 1 in the world. We might have to start watching India instead of Oz in the near future catching up to us.Great game.
Lots of helicopters in the air today again.Think our poor mnountains are on fire again.Yesterday there were fires on the mountain in Stellenbosch.Today it sounds like Table Mountain.
Its a scorching 30-34 degreesa today in Cape Town.Same thing yesterday.
