Hope everyone's still cool(icy cold in the case of wanqa). Saw pictures from a mate of mine living in the UK and it looks quite bad.
Went on a crazy road trip this weekend in which I saw quite a lot of the northern and central Luzon including the home province of Ferdinand Marcos and his mausoleum where he's body has been kept frozen to protest the government's refusal to bury him in the national cemetery.
Phone wise nothing much to report apart from the fact that I could get a signal in every town we visited with the exception of a few spots on the road.
Here are all of the pictures...as posted on facebook.

As you guys know, i am upgrading in 2 months and 9 day s time, and here is the news...
For some reason the mrs got me interested in the SAMSUNG I200 http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i200-3d-spin-2260.php
What do you guys think of it? I am looking for a smartphone, preferably winmo and i like the idea of a normal keypad on this one...

The Samsung I200 gets a no from me.....No WLAN (for me thats a must)......and it has a 2MP Camera (at least get something with 3.2mp's).......those are my two gripes with the phone.
I personally think for an upgrade you could find something more enticing that could come free on the contract you're on at the moment.
Me personally wouldnt even consider your wifes recommendation.

Have to agree with The Hobbster there. There's far better offerings, from HTC in particular, if you're specifically after a WinMo device. That Samsung's camera won't even have auto-focus, whereas the HTC Touch HD (5mp), Touch Pro (3.15mp), Touch Diamond (3.15mp) all do have. All three of these HTC's have wi-fi as standard too.
In other news, Computer giants Acer are also about to announce their first WinMo phone too:

Good to see you in these parts again, boet.

LOL, I guess I should've made more of an effort with a snowman yesterday; the last one I made was a cool 'punk' design with a dense range of sticks to act as the mohawk/mohican hairstyle, stones for studs etc.

Thats a realy nice lil PPC from Samsung, if you dont need Wi-Fi and a good cam id say go for it,otherwise theres always the new HTC S740, WM6.1 Standard Ed, 3.2mp cam with AF, Wi-Fi, 2.4inch screen, both a QWERTY and normal keypad, 528mhz CPU etc. . .or the TouchDual, even the TyTN-II is still good.

I missed the autofocus cam part, and i would love to get an HTC, but as i mentioned earlier, I will not pay in on my contract for a new phone, i spend too much on my mobile bill every month, and i simply wont pay more.
LOL, And mentioning the S740 now that is a real nice piece of equipment. As yet, i am still undecided as to what i will take, or what i want. Thanks for the comments on the I200, I would have hated if i actually got it.

Rhino...I think bring this up again 2 weeks before upgrade and we will all search like crazy for whats on offer, free on your contract.(since you adament on no extra pay-in)
Me,if I never had a E90 and my upgrade was tomorrow I'd walk into a Vodashop and suprisingly enough walk out with one of these new Blackberries.Thats where Im at at the moment.
