Just found a guy on eBay selling brand NEW Z1010 3g phones, for only £29.99! ( approx R420!). Anyone remember them? First 3G phones, VGA camera clamshell which had some serious girth.

@ Jojo,
So long, mate. I hope to see you around esato again in the future.
Thank you for your contributions and humour in this thread. You will not be forgotten, pal.

You know that there'll be some who won't be that bothered by your esato exodus, but I wish many of those in other threads, that had much to say about the different issues, would learn to focus on the faults in their own lives before adopting a 'holier than thou' attitude towards some of your more obvious/ transparent idiosyncrasies.

Take care of yourself; you know where to find us.

Paalam na po.

Eish changing icons is a bit of a mystery to me.Ive googled and yes you find instruction and get zip files that you can transfer to your resource/app file but i dont want what somebody else thinks r cool icons.i want my to do my own thing.(check my latest blog entry and you'll get the picture) Why dont these technical gifted creatures leave clear and concise instructions for example how to use MBM Tools and MBM Creator, the dimensions of the icon ect Cant wait till I figure it out,I'll leave a step by step way to do it.Not a step by..miss a step.,by step..miss a step lol I'll eventually get it and if anyone knows of some clear and concise instructions of eg how to take a Windows Vista icon, change it into .mbm and transfer it to my phone to replace say Web with a IE icon let me know.

Eish Jojo, don't let them get to you, mate. There will always be those who, as Wanqa so appropriately said it, are holier than thou; they're generally sanctimonious busybodies who don't really deserve any response to their rantings and ravings.
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

@ JC,

@ gola,
I'm sure if he wanted to, he could, provided he wasn't issued with an indefinite ban. But as you've seen lately, others outside SA (who have only contributed to this thread to pour further scorn on him) have got their way. Perhaps he just reached a point where it was a case of enough is enough, and has had to sever all esato ties in order to make it easier for him to move on.

@Ama, huh, is my nickname spelled right? Althou I can't make out 100% what you are saying, I am aware of Jojo's plite. Look at the nr. of postings he did - just imagine the time he spend on the net searching, looking for stuff, etc. etc. The net is good and bad at the same time, especially if used the way he did. You won't believe it but I used to spend just as much if not more time 'online'. I had, back in the late '80's, a SAPONET digi line just for this. (internet was almost unknown in SA by then) I used my family in Europe as a excuse (for myself) to be online and spend almost my entire wage + savings on things which involved no human iteractio. I am cured now I hope Jojo will use this 'mishap' as a wakeup call. It won't be easy thou Now I am not spending more than 12 hours a week online
Anyway here is Janbobejan's 'happy link' with compliments from SAPS internal jokemail

Well it should be 'bobbejaan' if you were after the correct spelling of 'baboon' in Afrikaans...

@ Jan,
I must be one intellectually-challenged Wanqa of note then, 'cos going to bed early ain't really in my vocabulary...
