You guys won't believe this, but Uncle Bob has turned to pop music to promote Zim, using his own voice, no less Check out http://www.zimonline.co.za/Article.aspx?ArticleId=1989

On second thoughts, it's quite believable, the man's capable of anything...

@da krypsta: That story is ridiculous, Zim seems a couple of steps away from being like North Korea without the military might. Spoke the friend who's from there the other night and she says there's no food in any of the stores, people have to rely on family from overseas to send them money so that they can buy food illegally imported from SA.

LMAO,
If anyone finds a link to download Nonsi n' Uncle Bob's 'Beitbridge' pop song, do let us know. Comic relief is always welcome. He didn't even need to put a foot in the recording studio... bless.

@JC08: I think you should wait for the k850. Should arrive here around end of October. Unless you're going to use Symbian for it's office capabilities, the k850 is a much better bet. The best thing about a non-smartphone is that everyone just works without having to tinker with ur Ram etc. A smartphone can sometimes be a pain when multitasking. Also the camera ui on the k850 is both faster and better than the n73 imo. If you're still having any doubts, head over to gsmarena and read their k850 review.

Hmm . . . Good one krypt I wonder how much Zim is worth now. Let's be positive and look at the bright site of things - Under uncle Bob, Zimbabwe is the only sub saharan country where they've managed to reign in the population explosion. That's no mean feat, for not even AIDS could do that. Now at least they have one thing in common with European countries
'Better govern our selfs the wrong way, then be governed by 'others' the right way.'

So the iPhone is available here from 9 November. 269 (approx R3800) to pay in BEFORE taking an 18 month contract out with O2, plus EDGE but no 3G.

Not for me.

Why couldnt Apple ATLEAST put in 3G in the UK I-Phone? It would have attractd even more people to it.
@ JC
Maybe wait for K850 to come out hey, then decide whether you want a phone with an OS or just a REALY high specd java phone. The N73-ME looks a bit cheap to me, one of my friends in matric at my school got it,and i would much rather get a normal N73, install the Music Edition FW and buy the 2GB MiniSD that the ME comes with. 2GB MiniSD are around R379 at Vodashop. Got my 1GB MiniSD for R199 at Vodashop Sandton, i was short of R100 to buy the 2GB so i took the 1GB and i will get 2GB some other time.
@ all, YAY! Long weekend finaly coming up, CANT WAIT!! Oh and for all the PC and Gaming Console fans here, RAGE is coming next week Friday at the Northgate Coca Cola Dome, not sure of the prices thou lol im not planning to go.

@dad - Thanks for the INFO about that BatMobile . . . I just made a WILD(hogs) guess on that !

, LOL Jojo, you're pretty sharp, matey.

I'm fitting performance exhausts to the Suzuki this weekend and then dyno-tuning it. Will take a few N73 pics when it's running on the dyno. I'm also putting on a Power Commander fo the fuel injection, which will enable me to optimise the electronic 'mapping' of the engine's power delivery.
Hope the neighbours don't mind too much... ( I only ride the bike on the weekends anyway...) Being a V-twin engine, it's gonna sound like a WW2 bomber with the open pipes...

@ all,
There's a guy on eBay selling NEW A2618's for just 10!

Brought back memories of 2001; it was my first ever and when I used to get bored on public transport, I'd often kill time by playing Tetris on it. Sigh, how things change over time...
