I know that most Esato users live in Europe so I would like to apologize on behalf of my country for the results of this election. This will obviously change many things worldwide for the worse and I can only hope that it will help open people’s eyes at the very least. Please forgive my fellow Americans; they honestly believed they were doing the right thing; but they are products of the society that has made them what they are. If you haven’t been to America, please understand that we are spoon-fed one point of view from every major media outlet and are raised in an educational system that trains us to “go with the flow” rather than thinking analytically or critically. Laws and policies are enacted based on the lobbies that have the most political support (i.e. money) and not the needs of the people. Though it was a very close race, there is much evidence of election fraud, though I don’t want to get into conspiracy theories because the sad fact is that even if that is the case we will just stand by and let it happen anyway. When will it change? Will it change?

i dont see what you have to apologise for you did nt ask to be born in the country, its not your responsibility alone so dont apologise.
perhaps kerry should apologise for been inefective opposition for not really having any firm policies to take to the elctorate.
if he had campagined on more than " i am not bush" and had a plan of action for iraq rather than we wont do what bush did but we really dont know what. then i am sure he would have won
as for you you are 1 american and whatever we get told about 1 vote makes a difference i cant recall any election been won on 1 vote

Has the result been definately confirmed then?
I can't beleive poeple have actually re-elected this guy.
I feel really sorry for the rest of the world that will have to suffer at the hands of this lunatic.
When Bush was elected in 2000 no one new he would turn into this crazed monster, but the fact that poeple have seen what he has done and still re-elected him just makes me loose respect for the American poeple. Well the half that elected him anyway. Now what they have done is given his policies theire seal of aproval and he will continue waging his wars and looting oil knowing he has the backing of the American poeple.

Give yourselves a pat on the back but forgive me & the rest of the world if we do not join in the celebrations.

3/11 The world is in mourning.

As someone who has voted against Bush 3 times (yes I registered as Republican in 2000 specificly to vote against him in the primary) I can say I agree with you. It boggles my mind that more than 50% of voteing Americans voted for GWB. I simply can not fathom this.

I'm thinking New Zealand.

Well, I know it isn’t my fault, and the election was so close you can’t even claim positively that the majority of Americans support Bush. So I wasn’t really apologizing for my actions but I want everyone to know that not all Americans are the same, and even those that we all consider evil are just doing what they think is right. I don’t even know what we’re supposed to do about this but things need to change. I’m just trying to do my part here and change the mind of one American at a time. Hell, even I was a typical Ameri-sheep until shortly after 9/11 I opened my eyes. There are so many people that stand by the president no matter who he is or what he does, just because they think it is “patriotic”. And there are so many people who voted for Kerry (who I agree was a joke) but still support the Iraq war etc. The Bush administration had this country so brainwashed that any real opposition would have been laughed at. And the wonderful American media helped/let/made it all happen. No matter what this country was going to suffer, but this is definitely the worst-case scenario. @Thomas – It’s pretty much over, Kerry has conceded – at least unofficially – to Bush as of this morning. The only thing that could have saved him is Ohio and it never was looking hopeful. It got very close in the end but practically all the ballots that haven’t been counted yet would have to be for Kerry.

I was actually thinking about NZ once the initial "I'm going to Canada" reflex subsided. I'm gonna see how the next year goes but if/when the draft starts I'll see you there.

I hope there is a huge crowd in protest for his inauguration. In fact, what is the date for that, I'd like to be there.

Well, as we see that Bush has been elected once again for the office of president, we begin to be aware that democracy does not work. The so-called majorty is only 2 percent above the opponent, and the country is divided. Every government in the world atm is corrupt, and after only 300 years of it's creation, democracy is beginning to fail. In the end, the people have no power because they are so easily manipulated.

However, for thousands of years before democracy we had monarchies and dictatorships that worked not all too bad, which is why i propose the Bitter Sea Revolution, in which a single world monarchy will be formed under a benevolent leader (i.e. me) so give me ure support. lol.
