If the phone´s dead you´re out of luck mate
Windows won´t react when you attach cable (i often use Z1010 cable so it´s not a problem) except it has to have some juice to identify itself to WIndows P&P and start charging once identified.

No worries ThreeX. I used a mini usb cable and the usb port on my PS2 in the end... Worked like a charm!

The sim numbers are stored in the "general" catagory by default and cannot be moved to another catagory (as was mentioned in a post earlier).

Copy all the numbers you require from the sim to the phone which creates duplicates. It does'nt matter if you select merge or overwrite.

Then highlight one of the other catagories and press the menu button (above the arrow on the circular pad) to acess the catagory menu section.

Go to edit and select it. This takes you to the catagory details section.

Rename the catagory as something like "Phonebook" and confirm.

Next, select the members option and add all of the numbers that you transferred to the phone from your sim and press done.

Select you ringer Id

Press the done key and there you have it. Two lists which you can view seperatly saving the need to erase you sim numbers.

Hope this helps.

Hi there!,

I'm a new user of razr v3. Pretty nice phone despite the duplicated agenda entries problem.

I've used the quoted workaround wich solves the problem but only temporarily (at least in my case). Fact is that whenever I switch off - on the phone the category setting is deleted and the agenda shows again duplicated entries (the showing category resets to "all").

I would prefer no to change the agenda settings each time I switch off the phone. Does any of you know how to set a certain category as the default for the agenda?. (In worst case I can keep the phone always on ).

Thanks in advance for any reply!.

To enable SMS delivery:
Press menu then 048263* This will bring up the op code menu.

Sms delivery report on, press the following sequence

47 ok
Field 1 50 ok
Field 2 1 ok
Field 3 61 ok
Field 4 1 ok
Field 5 175 ok
To switch off field 5 173 ok

When you enter field 5 you will get a result menu simply press ok and this returns you to the op code menu, then press cancel to return to the normal Moto menu. Switch your phone off and on and you should have delivery reports option in sms. This works on V3, V600, V620 etc etc. Do not try this on a Moto smart phone ie MPx 200, 220 or 300

i tried to write "048263*" on the menu but nothing happened and i m gettin crazy because of not to have a sms delivery report menu..can you help please ?isnt there anybody to help:(
