Help a noob out please,

I downloaded a bunch of themes that have the extension UTZ and I'm trying to install them in my P910i. Installation proceeds then ends with message "invalid filename".
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You need Tracker 4 app to open that theme. Actually, it is not theme, it is skin.

A file extension with .utz is a P900/P910 Theme

A file extension with .ztr is a P800/P900/P910 Tracker skin

people, I've done it all, changed the the name to .thm .ztr .zip and I still can't install the themes onto my phone!

heck i even checked to make sure i have the latest firmware from the SE update website.

I think I'm just going to reinstall the PC suite program all over again. When I start to install the theme the status bar goes all the way to the end then gives me the same error message "invalid filename" and this is for all themes I've downloaded with the utz extension.

I'm stuck!

Have you tried placing the .utz file to the Documents/Unfiled folder on your phone

vicelord: You should have instructions in the manual on
how to do that. Otherwise try what welsh_uk said.

I am assuming that you have your .utz file on your pc desktop and i will call it test.utz

How to install a theme using the supplied syncstation

Connect the syncstation to your pc and place your PXXX in the cradle

Once your phone has been reconised (and you have clicked on the reminders) twice left click on the PXXX Icon on your desktop then twice left click My PXXX twice left click Phone Memory twice left click Document twice left click Unfiled

Left click on the test.utz on your pc desktop and drag and drop the test.utz into the open browser folder once transfered close down both browser folders

Remove your PXXX from the cradle

Click on Applications scroll down and click on File Manager scroll down and click on Document scroll down and click on Unfiled twice click on test.utz and click on Install the theme will now be installed and you will be asked if you want to apply the theme press Yes

Now tick the box on the left of the test.utz and click on File click on Delete click on Yes
