Hi everybody!
I tried to use my (valid) pre-paid E-Plus card with my old Ericsson GH688. The phone accept the card and is trying to find the network, but after a few seconds it appear on the display only D1 and D2 networks (I'm in Germany), but not E-plus!!! I'm sure the card is ok, it' working with other phones, but not with the "old" GH688!
Could anybody help me?

Is it ther right band? ie GSM 900 or 1800? Ask Masseur, he'll help

What a great fone! Anyway, could be that eplus doesnt work on that band, got sometimes problems with older /// fones. Ask in the ///Galleries thread aswell ( and post a pic of it there if possible ) . Btw welcome here.

True, E-Plus is only GSM1800 and GH688 was GSM900. Btw SH888 was the first dual band.

sorry for delay in replying. yeah I'm pretty sure E-PLUS is 1800mhz. btw E-PLUS are terrible in my experience when my phone has switched to them automatically

surprised you didn't see O2 though as I thought they were on 900mhz

i might be wrong, bu wasnt e-plus the first 1800 mah operator in germany?
