I still can't get R3M from SEUS
Also don't think that there will be anymore updates seeing as the S700 is now discontinued.

@rookwise: how can you say that the S700i is already "discontinued"? is that official, or is that just your opinion?

Just follow the instructions on SE update service website.
Should be easy. [addsig]

Nope. Not my opinion. I only state what I've read. Have seen the S700 listed as discontinued on about 5 sites so far. Including an email from saying its no longer in production.

Just looked at the firmware version of my S700i and it's R3B032. This is rather an old version - or indeed the original version - what major changes are there from my version and the latest version?

Is it worth my while investing in a syncstation and getting my firmware updated?

I've not noticed any bugs as such in the phone, though the menu can sometimes be a bit slow navigating.

Well.. it might be discontinued when it comes to production of them but its still sold new.. that means the people buying it now will get updates if its needed at least a year ahead so there will be more updates. I also got a S700i and cant say I have other problems then the slow menu.

Is it worth my updating my rather old firmware version at all, many changes with the latest version?

i think it's always worth updating your firmware... My phone's firmware is R3M... But it still has the "phonebook bug" (the bug where you can't search the phonebook for more than one character). Quite annoying if you want to call someone in the middle of your phonebook without revealing the keypad. However, I am able to mute the camera shutter sound by putting the phone in silent mode...

What du you mean by searching the phonebook with only one character? Got R3M008 and it's working fine
